Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. It is a Starter Set showdown this week! With 2 different boxed starter sets coming out for D&D revised 5e within a few weeks of one another, how could I not pit them against each other? Both of these sets are quite heavy and full of stuff, but also come in at a premium price to match. They do offer different experiences though, so it might be difficult to decide what one to purchase. Tune in to this week's episode to hear me weigh the pros and cons of each set, and see if my overall judgement helps you to decide which way to go.
