Pining for Pixels # 127 - Video Game Book Club: Terranigma
Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
I finally got my Video Game Book Club episode for Terranigma complete! Too many things came up in the video game industry for the past couple of weeks that caused its delay, but it's here now! This game was a real experience for me. A game that I had heard so much about all these years, and that those of us in North America had missed out on due to it only being released in Japan and the EU regions. However at that time, I was too busy concerning myself with the bleeding edge titles on the N64, Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn to notice this late-in-life SNES title. Had I known then what I know now, I would have been pretty irritated that we missed out. Thanks to modern day technology though, I get to experience this overlooked classic anew, kinda like getting access to a deleted scene or uncovered time capsule from my youth! Tune to hear if this game from 1995/1996 is for you in 2025.
