Pining for Pixels # 122 - Versus Mode: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Vs. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
How fortuitous for gamers that we would get brand new entries in 2 classic ninja gaming franchises? And that they would release within a month of one another! This made doing the next episode of Versus Mode a no brainer! One was known for its classic entries on legacy Nintendo hardware, and the other known for its classic entries on legacy Sega hardware, all during the time of the classic console wars! Both franchises had a start in the arcades as well. On top of all that, both of these new entries have a tie to developers and publishers of the recent great Streets of Rage 4! Let's make one thing clear here, both of these games are incredible, but since this is Versus Mode, only one may claim the title of winner. Tune in to find out which one that is.
