Pining for Pixels # 118 - Ranking the July 2025 Nintendo Partner Direct
Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
It finally happened, the long rumoured Nintendo Direct got announced and went live on July 31. Since I went over the exciting announcements from both Sony and Microsoft from their June presentations, I wanted to be sue that I spent some time on Nintendo's as well, especially given they just launched their new platform. This was just a Partner showcase, so we have a a little while longer until we get a mother presentation from they first party stuff, but nonetheless, there was some great stuff and genuine surprises announced! Tune in to hear what my top 5 announcements were from this first partner direct for the Switch 2.
