Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
What do a gothic Castlevania-inspired pixel art platformer, an absurdist easy going casual exploration open-world exploration game, and a fast paced anime retro-future overload of the senses high concept FPS game have in common? They are all on the same episode of Indie Round-Up this week! Despite that lame joke I just told, those are all apt descriptions of the games I cover this week, and they are very far apart from one another. You will most likely find one of these games to suit your fancy, as all three are good examples of developers that clearly loved the games they were working on. Tune in to hear my thoughts on this eclectic line-up and hear which of the three was my favourite.
