Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
Rolling Stone recently put out their list of the top 50 video games of all time. I had a look through it recently and was honestly a little surprised at what I saw. There was more merit to this list than I expected. Usually when a big pop culture magazine like this decides to dip into the world of gaming, it usually comes off as trite and out of touch. However, with this one, someone clearly did their homework. While there still are some very obvious entries, there were also more than a few here that surprised me. Tune in to hear what 2 sports games appeared on this list that has me utterly confounded.
