Pining for Pixels # 91 - Top 5 Video Game Book Club Games From 2024
Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
Last year I did 7 episodes for my Video Game Book Club segment that covered a total of 5 games. 2 of those games required 2 episodes to cover fully, while the rest were single episode games. I thought it would be fun to rank them in order from my least favourite to my favourite for the year. Keep in mind that my least favourite is still a game I enjoyed, just not as much as the ones ahead of it. I had a great time getting feedback from the community about each of the 5 games, and I found that after going through them in this format, my perception of what I thought the game would be had changed. This was true for just about every game I played! Tune in to hear which game made #1 (maybe you can even guess it if you listened to each of the Video Game Book Club episodes from 2024).
