Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
Versus Mode returns to determine who won the battle of the summer games showcases! I remember back in the day, there was always discourse over who "won" E3, and I wanted the spirit of that to continue here. It was always lots of fun dissecting what was on offer for each platform, and this year is no different. In fact, we got a pretty big year of showcases all things considered. I'd argue that this is the biggest summer of showcases since E3 last reigned over the summer reveals. It is important to note that this is specific to the platform holder presentations, and not based on other publishers or groups that ran their own presentations (such as Summer Games Fest). Tune in to hear who walked away the ultimate winner for the year's summer games showcase showdown.
