Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.

Easter is here and like every other holiday, it can be fun to inject the theme into your game. I found it difficult to find good resources for this however. For instance, Goodman Games doesn't do an Easter theme with their holiday themed modules (a missed opportunity!), but I found some Easter adventure hooks online from EpicFred.com that I decided to review and ponder how I might incorporate these ideas into a game, as well as some practical ideas on how you might want to set an Easter themed game up at home. I also noticed there were a lot of hidden references (easter eggs!) in the D&D 5e Monster Manual from 2014 that call back to 1e and 2e elements. These are exciting finds so I wanted to share them with you all as an easter treat! Tune in to hear what obscure references are hidden right under your nose (if you are a 5e player)!
